From the HOD's Desk...

With great pride and humility, I take this opportunity to address you as the Head of the Department of Franklin College of Education. Our institution, under the visionary guidance of Mr. Gh. Hassan Dar (Principal ) and the tireless dedication of Mr. Muneer Ahmad Dar (Chairman cum Administrator), has grown into a distinguished seat of learning, setting new standards in teacher education.

Education, to us, is not merely the transmission of knowledge, but the transformation of character and values. At Franklin College, we strive to create an environment where students develop not only academic excellence but also the professional competence, compassion, and moral strength required to shape the society of tomorrow.

In the last few years, our college has made remarkable progress in both infrastructure and academic culture. This growth has been possible because of the collective vision of our leadership, the devotion of our faculty, and the goodwill of our community. I firmly believe that with continued teamwork, Franklin College will emerge as a model institution of higher learning.

I extend my heartfelt vote of thanks to our respected Principal, Mr. Gh. Hassan Dar, whose vision laid the foundation of this institution, and to Mr. Muneer Ahmad Dar, whose administrative commitment has been the driving force behind our progress. Their trust and encouragement inspire me and my colleagues to carry forward their mission with renewed dedication.

Together, with the blessings of Almighty Allah, the cooperation of our staff, students, and the invaluable guidance of the University of Kashmir under the leadership of Prof. (Mrs.) Nilofer Khan, Honourable Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Khursheed A. Butt, Dean College Development Council, we shall continue to march ahead—nurturing excellence, empowering youth, and serving society.

Franklin College of Education is not just an institution; it is a dream realized, and I assure you that as Principal, I will work tirelessly to uphold its values and take it to even greater heights.
